With over 40 years of experience in the marine industry- including 35 with the company – Peter Cochran leads global operations for a fleet of more than 650 yachts across The Moorings and Sunsail brands.

His expertise spans bareboat, crewed yachts ,flotilla, power, sailing schools ,corporate sailing and racing events.

Peter’s career began as a skipper in Greece with Island Sailing ( now Sunsail) followed by leadership roles throughout the Mediterranean , the Caribbean,  the USA and Asia Pacific.  He has held positions from Operations Manager to Caribbean Operations Director , Commercial Director, and Managing Director , culminating in his current role as SVP of Operations.

Peter first came to the BVIs in 1991 contributing to the growth of the Sunsail Yacht Charter business and in 2006 completed the global merger with The Moorings.

Presently Peter is overseeing the rebuild project completion of the Moorings and Sunsail base in Road Town BVI.
