Miles Sutherland Pilch has over thirty years of experience in the marine and hospitality industry, with 20 of those as general manager of Nanny Cay Resort and Marina.

He has been a driving force in the growth of Nanny Cay and has spearheaded many of the community programmes that Nanny Cay undertakes. To this day, Nanny Cay gives free water to the local community, an initiative that started with Hurricane Irma in 2017. BVI maritime heritage in the form of the historic Tortola Sloops has been kept safe at Nanny Cay for over 15 years.

He is passionate about the marine industry in the BVI and works closely with the H Lavity Stoutt College on developing marine training programmes and internships for a future generation of marine industry professionals.

He is a licensed yacht captain with experience in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and South Pacific.
