Biography
The Soil Regenerator
Joshua Forte is the Founder and CEO of Red Diamond Compost Inc., a biotech social enterprise pioneering the transformation of organic materials such as sargassum seaweed and Tithonia into high-value biostimulants, composts, and organic fertilisers. At the heart of Red Diamond’s work is the Diamond Matrix Bioconversion (DMX) Platform, the company’s core engine, integrating biotechnology, data, and AI to standardise quality, optimise production, and quantify real-time climate impact across every batch.
Alongside product innovation, Joshua leads Journey to 1000 Acres, a hands-on regenerative agriculture education and adoption initiative launched in partnership with the Barbados Environmental Conservation Trust (BECT) to scale regenerative practices and measurable soil health improvements across the Caribbean.
Recognised as a forward-thinking voice on food security, the blue/green circular economy, and climate resilience, Joshua has spoken at One Young World, the Vienna International Energy & Climate Forum (2023), UN SIDS Conference 2024 events, and The 2nd EU-Caribbean Global Gateway Conference on Sargassum. He is also a 2025 World Food Forum (WFF) Youth Representative. His mission is to regenerate one million acres of soil across the globe, starting in the Caribbean, by turning local biomass challenges into scalable bio-based solutions that restore ecosystems and strengthen livelihood.
